Stop Living With Chronic Pain

The MELT Method® (MELT) is a self-treatment technique that helps people get out and stay out of chronic pain. With this technique, you can learn to actively partake in reducing your body’s connective tissue stress, restore whole-body efficiency, and lead a healthier, more active life. MELT is intended to be done at home, under your own direction, for as littles as 10 minutes a day.

I have had a longstanding interest in chronic pain management, both for myself and from my work as a Pilates instructor. My own personal success with MELT techniques has been dramatic, and I am enthusiastic about sharing it with others. I have completed the MELT Method® Hand and Foot training as well as the Level 1 Soft Roller training.

MELT Events &  Classes

I teach the basic techniques of MELT through private lessons or group MELT Events. These classes give you the opportunity to build a foundation for managing your own pain.

Monthly touch-up classes are also available for experienced MELTers to recalibrate self-treatment. These classes are a chance to check in and ask questions about the technique.

MELT was developed by manual therapist Sue Hitzmann as homework for her clients, with the aim of encouraging them to actively partake in their own healing regimen.
